so with winter coming in the uk, i am considering buying a wooden garden shed to put a few of my pets in. my leopard tortoise desperately needs her enclosure expanding (shes quickly out growing it) so i will be housing her in the new shed, with a separate sleeping area, with an attached run. i also have several guinea pigs that i would like to put in there, obviously in their hutches with a separate rub. would this we safe to do so? i am aware of insulating the walls, floor and roof, and several heat lamps for the tortoise.. so my question is, are the guinea pigs ok to be housed in the same shed, but separate enclosure as my tortoise? please answer
I don’t know much about torts, nor guineapigs. But if neither animal is aggressive I believe they would be fine. As long as the pigs don’t overheat from the lamps they’ll be fine.
