We have a budget of about $800. Looks like our options for kits are chip board or plastic (vinyl?). Could we get more bang for our buck if we designed and built a shed from scratch?
Thanks!
I think your best bet is to buy one. We’re in the building business and it’s not really worth the effort to estimate the material, buy, cut and fit when they’re precut and ready for assembly.

if you know how to build one do it.useT 1=11 on the walls (that chip board won:t last long) i find those pre built are over priced.use a storm window in it instead of a regular house window. and buy a steel hollow door for it.I:m building one right now for myself, about 6 to 7 hundred 8 by 10. good luck.oh! yes use pressure threated 2 bys on floor.
