Toronto has a fast track which speeds up the process, and with virtually any of the commonly sized storage shed buildings it is recommended to get a permit just to protect yourself. Have a bit of an incline in my backyard so need ideas to build this well Hi, try digging the earth out a bit to make for a level foundation. Like that you won’t have to worry about future issues.

You should check with your local building inspector. He’ll be glad to tell you if you need a permit. There is also the question of location in relation to property lines, etc.
