Why Guys Need Wooden Garden Sheds

October 18, 2009

As we get older, the more we long to slip away and sneak into our beloved wooden garden shed. To sit down in that old, worn out, perpetually creased, leather armchair that we somehow managed to rescue from the tip. To enjoy gently sipping our cold beer/hot strong coffee/warm cocoa/iced tea/neat whisky/large glass of red wine (delete as appropriate), close our eyes and let the waves of relaxation gently break over over us.

We have countless different reasons for visiting our shed, it serves many functions and meets various needs. We love our wooden garden sheds, life without them would be so much less, and YES, we want a bigger one!!!

October 31, 2009

Would it be safe to store a computer and a printer in a mini-storage or backyard shed for a few months?

October 28, 2009

I would hide it from potential thieves. My main concern is how the weather and other things would affect how it works. I’ve stored electronics (including computers) in storage many times. The key is to ensure that the unit is dry and that the system is not directly on the floor. Also, inspect routinely for [...]

who can design me a bike shed to store 6 + bikes for a young persons hostel?

October 28, 2009

Designers likely make too much money; and just slow me down. What’s to "design"??? You might have added some info about free standing; or attached to the Hostel. Frame the structure in treated lumber. 2 x 4′s will work. Use a floor structure. Treated exterior plywood; or lawn building steel panels for the siding and [...]
